Will I Reach At Least 40's Or Just Die In My 20's.
A MyAmyloidosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have 22 years old, turning 23 in september. Like 4 montsh ago i had an cardiology apointment and there they said i have Amyloidois but thats it. I dont know the type or anything about it, i just found it on the paper i got from the doc. It says Amyloidois under observation. I know its kinda impossible for you to tell me something like this, but i just want to know if i got a chance to live up to my 40's at least or just simply die soon in my 30's or even in my 20's.

I advise you too find another doctor who tests and communicates a lot better than your current doc.

Your prognosis will be better if you get diagnosed and start treatment ASAP. There’s always new treatments available and in clinical trials. The future is starting to look bright.

Please don’t worry. Ask your dr all the questions you have. And please keep in mind that new, promising medicine finally exists for all types of amyloidosis. Don’t worry.
