Steve, what gives me hope is that there are some friends on this site that have had it 5+ years. I use them as my strength and inspiration ๐Ÿ™ new treatments are increasing Life expectancy and quality of life.

I was diagnosed at 83 with wild type and have been taking Vyndamax since December 2023 and was diagnosed with A-fib a month ago. Wonder if the wild "child" caused the Afib?? Now on Blood thinner for heart!

Theresa is right, only God knows!
What type do you have, wild type, hereditary? There are some in my support group that have been diagnosed over 10 years ago. There are so many new treatments.
