There are various causes for balance issues. A bad head cold can gum up the inner ear. I have had balance problems because an inner ear never functioned on one side. There are various causes as you get older. If it is bad and does not go away, you should see an eye/ear/nose specialist.

Do you have neuropathy? Neuropathy can cause balance problems.
