I am Asking for an informal survey of what type of amyloidosis do you have and are you taking a diuretic. We noticed on this site that there are a lot of diuretic users and I tried my wife's diuretic for a week with an improved urinary flow. However, my heart group took me to the woodshed and urged me not to be experimenting with diuretics. Hence I would appreciate any input you might have especially for wild type ATTR combined with diuretic use.

I use Jardiance to aid in water removal as per doctors' orders One pill (10mg) every other day.

I have AL. No diuretics. I have hypotension so you have to be very careful. They can lower your bp

I have Al Amyloidosis, and I’m currently in the hospital right now having fluid removed but usually I’m on Torsemide 100mg which I take twice a day but last chemo medication made me swell again.

I have wild type ATTR and my cardiologist has me on Aldactone which is a mild diuretic but it also helps my body retain potassium naturally.
