- Echocardiogram to assess heart function
- Electrocardiogram for electrical signals
- Cardiac MRI for detailed heart imaging
- Heart biopsy to confirm amyloid deposits Common symptoms may not appear until advanced stages and can include:
- Shortness of breath (even during light activity or rest)
- Heart palpitations
- Swelling in feet, ankles, legs, and abdomen
- Persistent fatigue
- Enlarged neck veins
