Dr. Sascha Tuchman is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist who serves as director of the Multiple Myeloma & Amyloidosis Program at the University of North Carolina Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Dr. Tuchman is an expert in managing patients with multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, and other plasma cell disorders. His clinical research focuses on treating multiple myeloma in patients who are at high risk for toxicity due to advanced age or other medical problems, developing novel drugs for treating all patients with multiple myeloma, and optimizing management for amyloidosis. He is a member of international working groups that formulate guidelines for treating these disorders.
