What's wrong with salt and sugar? None of our doctor's has mentioned any dietary restrictions.

Al I have wATTR-CM with edema in both lower legs. Cardiomyopathy seems to respond to reductions in “water weight”. Over the past few years I’ve been treated with Lasix, IV Lasix, and recently Torsemide. Other than now using a salt substitute my primary cardiologist has never mentioned sugar.
I’ve been on Vyndamax for two years. Sounds like we have the same diagnosies.

Hi Rob, Thx for your response. I have Congestive Heart failure (Diastolic muscles) complicated by Amyloidosis which results in Edema. I wear compression stockings daily and take Bumetanide ( water pills) and I am peeing all day long but still cannot lose the 50 Lbs I have gained. I watch my salt and sugar intake religiously. Just looking for any other foods or nutrients to avoid so the Vyndamax continues to work. I am on it for 5 years

In addition to Amyloidosis, I suffer from Diastolic Congestive Heart Failure. This includes weight gain due to water retention (EDEMA). Salt and sugar are a NO NO
