Members discussed their experiences combining Jardiance with Vyndamax or Vyndaqel for cardiac amyloidosis, with many reporting encouraging early results including improved shortness of breath, better sleep quality, and positive echocardiogram results showing improved ejection fraction and flow rates after several months of treatment. Several members shared that while Jardiance appeared to help with heart function and fluid management, persistent fatigue remained a challenging symptom that did not significantly improve for most. A recurring theme was cautious optimism about the combination therapy potentially slowing disease progression, though members acknowledged it was still early to draw definitive conclusions and emphasized the importance of regular monitoring through echocardiograms and blood work.

How did you get to take tafamidis without it being in your heart? I have WTATTR not in my heart yet but I was told I can't get it until it gets in my heart Joe

I take Jardiance and Vyndamax. My cardiologist says it might help ejection fraction.

I am on Vyndamax for ATTR CARDIAC WILD TYPE and my cardiologist prescribed Jardiance for swelling but I was not able to take the Jardiance. We now have my swelling under control with Aldactone.

That’s encouraging about Jardiance. I recently discovered I had Anemia, very low hemoglobin. Received a transfusion, and feel much better. Apparently had some bleeding internally. It stopped, and now doctors are recommending I get off Elequis. with a Watchman. Make sure Ben checks his blood count. Don’t know if it had anything to do with myamyloidosis, but who knows.
