Dave,I was diagnosed in January 2024 with Hereditary Amyloidosis. I started Vyndamax then.Can breathe a little easier,but not much change to date. Requip is by Rx and has a generic,Ropinerol.My skin seems drier,just more lotion.I live in South Georgia,about 3 hours from the Gulf of Mexico.My happy place. But,with my balance issues had to quit walking on the beach.The ocean brings me so much peace ! Hope all the best for you !

Dave2,I have neuropathy in both feet with Restless Legs.I take Requip.Some days it is below my ankles other above my ankles.I too use a walker.Have had my knees buckle. PT seem to make my legs hurt more.I have an over sized heating pad I use for the pain,it helps.

not much due to nerve damage, nerves and muscles aren't working together, but thanks. Amyloidosos kills the Axons nerve cells permanently

watch that your BP doesn't go too low if it does take hydrocortisone see Endocrinology amyloidosis specialist. Do your ankles swell feet etc do your retain fluid ? Do you take Lasix water pill. Whaya your BNP measure of heart failure on a blood test normal is up to 100. Dave
