Amyloidosis can indeed affect the nerves, leading to symptoms such as numbness, pain, or tingling in the legs, which can make walking difficult. This condition is known as peripheral neuropathy. Tafamidis is a treatment option that helps stabilize TTR proteins and can slow the progression of nerve damage. However, it may take time to see significant improvements, and some symptoms might persist.

Here are some key points:
- Peripheral Neuropathy: Nerve damage causing numbness, pain, or tingling in the legs.
- Tafamidis: Helps stabilize TTR proteins, potentially slowing nerve damage.
- Symptom Persistence: Some symptoms may continue despite treatment.

It's important to discuss these symptoms with your healthcare provider to explore additional treatment options and manage your condition effectively.
