Hi Virginia, My version of Amyloidosis has different initials and so presents differently, I guess. It affects the heart so I am breathless. I have been prescribed Tafamidis and hope it will have some beneficial slowing down effect. Good luck with your husband's affliction. Pain is a real challenge to deal with.

My husband has had 2 spinal ablations also. He was scheduled for knee replacement which was cancelled by his Palliative Care Dr. because of comorbidities, so we march on and stay as active as possible. Happy 4th of July!
