Good morning Shirley, It is now three months since I started taking Tafamidis and the results so far are encouraging. No apparent side-effects, I still feel lethargic and a trip upstairs is an effort but there are two improvements that I attribute to these tablets. First and foremost my personal ecg device now consistently shows a regular heartbeat whereas previously PAC and PVC heart valve defects were the norm. Only my next echogram will confirm the readings of this simple device that costs the NHS around the price of one tablet !!!. Secondly, my tastebuds are almost back to normal and I almost forgot, my blood pressure is down.
