Olso for some reason my heart rate I the morning rose from 45 to 53. I don’t know if this pill was responsible for that or not, but 53 is a lot better than 43, which it was sometimes. Jimm7 🇨🇦😎

I had the problem of becoming dizzy when I stood up. I was taking PMs-Irbesartan 300 mg, which was reduced to 150 mg, then to 75 mg. Once I was at 75 mg the whole problem went away and I am fine otherwise. Thank the Loard as it was not nice. Nearly passed out a few times at 300mg. Jim7 😎🇨🇦

Yes, ATTRwt can affect blood pressure, particularly through its impact on the autonomic nervous system. One of the most common symptoms is orthostatic hypotension - a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing up, which can cause dizziness or lightheadedness. This blood pressure irregularity is part of what's called autonomic neuropathy, where the nerves controlling automatic body functions are affected. People experiencing these blood pressure changes may not respond as well to common heart medications like beta-blockers and ACE inhibitors, which can actually be an important clue that helps doctors identify ATTR amyloidosis.
