This is an every 3 month injection. I’m on my 4 shot. GET A BENCHMARK SPECIAL ECHO WITH STRAINS. This is the definitive ECHO to get. After 3 shots (9 months later) I hope you’ll be as shocked, happy, overjoyed AND YES IT WORKS. My 2-9-26 last ECHO w/STRAINS showed many areas normal and no “cherry on top” in re: my cardiac amyloidosis! NOTE: Getting another injection this coming Tueday 6-23-26. Yippee! This special ECHO is usually done in a hospital setting! I hope you have a fantastic cardiologist! I do! Always on cutting edge and he just made philanthropist of year for Providence St. Joseph Hospital here in Southern California. Keep me posted.

Vutrisiran (Amvuttra) has shown really strong results in clinical trials for amyloidosis. It works by reducing the liver's production of the abnormal TTR protein by around 80–85%, which helps slow the buildup of amyloid deposits. In studies, people taking vutrisiran saw improvements across several important areas, including:

- Survival rates
- Fewer hospitalizations
- Better walking ability and physical function
- Improved quality of life
- Reduced shortness of breath

It's also approved for both hereditary ATTR polyneuropathy (nerve symptoms) and ATTR cardiomyopathy (heart-related symptoms), making it one of the more versatile treatment options available. One practical bonus — it's only injected once every three months at a clinic, which is much less frequent than some other treatments. That can make a real difference for long-term management.

It's worth noting that while vutrisiran significantly slows disease progression, it doesn't reverse existing damage. This is why early treatment is considered so important. Always discuss with your specialist whether it's the right fit for your specific situation.
