- Blood pressure drops — Diuretics can cause a significant drop in blood pressure, which may worsen dizziness or fainting
- Dehydration risk — Losing too much fluid can lower blood volume and lead to low blood pressure
- Electrolyte imbalance — Flushing out fluid can also affect important minerals in the body
