Anyone Else With AL Amyloidosis In Their Digestive System?.
A MyAmyloidosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am experiencing daily bouts of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and extreme drops in blood pressure. For the past 2 months now. I am currently in CHR and have been done with chemo for one month. Didn’t have any of these issues while on treatments. Any thoughts or similar issues out there? I’m just wondering if it’s the Amyloidosis or a result of nerve damage from the chemo? I’ve had bacterial and parasite tests done but no evidence of either. Also had a recent echocardiogram which was normal. No-one… read more

What Is Recommended For Stiffness And Or Pain?
A MyAmyloidosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am getting velcaide injections every other week. Sometimes I have stiffness in my back and swelling in my lower legs. Sometimes use Tylenol for pain and was given tramadol. I don't want to use too much pain medicine. Any suggestions? Injections are working to lower protein numbers.

A MyAmyloidosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

My husband was taken off toporol after years of taking it and amlodipine to control his blood pressure. He is now taking Lisinopril and doxazosin and his blood pressure has steadily increased even though the doctor has increased the meds.
