Rob, I am also on Hydrocodone and it does help. My pain levels also are in the 8-9 levels. Not at all fun :-( I am targeting Kyphoplasy as a possible solution--hopefully by end of April (today is March 24).

Definitely one of the symptoms of attr deposition. Along with pain in the joints, tendons, carpel tunnel white skin spots from the attr protein in the skin mostly forearms and it can affect vision.

I've experienced lower back pain recently. It was in the 8-9 range. Don't believe that I strained my back so it was a complete surprise. The only thing that really helped with the pain was Hydrocodone. Over time, heat and jacuzzi sessions helped without need for drugs. Seems to me that amyloid caused this as they do attack soft tissues like the spinal cord.

Could be the myloudois.

Thanks Vern. I just looked up Darzalex side effects and one of them is back pain. I’m having Darzalex shots once a month now-supposed to be done in June. But I have had lots of them the past 2 years! I will ask my hematologist if he thinks that is the cause of the back pain.
