Some forms of amyloidosis can affect the digestive system, particularly in cases of AL amyloidosis and AA amyloidosis. However, the current research shows that amyloidosis is primarily caused by genetic mutations, chronic inflammation, or underlying health conditions rather than gut bacteria directly.
