Theresa, don’t start worrying, yet! i’m at the three year mark myself from chemo/SCT and my numbers have been slowly rising, now out of the range. Let’s make a deal and just not worry together. We just keep getting up every day, start the coffee pot and take it as it comes. 🙏
The Amyloid was first detected in my ureters when one of them became blocked and I fainted when my left kidney became filled with urine. I was on Cybord for 18 months 4 years ago . My 3-month blood work indicates stable blood ever since.
I was on everything mentioned here for 18 months. That was 4 years ago. My numbers are flat. No uptick. My oncologist calls me “a boring patient “. However, the side effects suck. Pupura skin. Blocked ureters requiring stents and a Nephrostomy. Peripheral neuropathy in hands and feet. Near constant fatigue. But I’m still alive.
Jim had CyborD weekly for 6 months, now on Dara monthly for 18 months. His Kappa & Lambda are going down to acceptable levels. If this continues, he will stop Dara in October, then have bloodwork every 3 months for monitoring. He still has symptoms and severe fatigue, but being in remission is the best feeling ever!
