My husband just learned he will probably need a pace maker soon. Has anyone else had this as a needed procedure?

I have one. The surgery wasn’t a big deal and neither was recovery. He’ll do great!

They diagnosed my amyloidosis a few months after I got my pacemaker...2 years later they put in the defibrillator...the surgery and recovery were fairly easy and I felt so much better after. Also started Entresto which helped immensely. I feel that I would have died without the pacemaker.

Hi. Sorry i cannot have a pacemaker fitted I've been told uts the wrong
side of my heart. Where I live 50 % of the people have them fitted &are
very well. Every best wish for you both.Dx
