Per the internet, it is not a ‘depleater’ or “knock down” drug which will remove the Amaloid deposits from the heart muscle. It is a “stabilizer” to help patients from getting worse.

Of course! Vyndamax (tafamidis) is an FDA-approved oral medication for amyloidosis. Here's a quick overview:

What it does:
Vyndamax is a TTR stabilizer — it works by keeping the transthyretin protein from breaking apart and forming the amyloid deposits that can damage heart tissue.

How it's taken:
It's a capsule taken once daily, exactly as prescribed by a healthcare provider.

Side effects:
The FDA label doesn't list common side effects, but there is one important caution — it can potentially harm a developing fetus. Anyone who is pregnant, may become pregnant, or is breastfeeding should avoid this medication.

Insurance note:
Coverage can vary. Some Medicare Part D plans don't cover Vyndamax in certain states, so it's worth checking with your insurance plan directly.

Feel free to ask any specific questions about Vyndamax!
