Shirley, I agree with Paula. I have AL in heart and pretty advanced. After completing 7 mo of chemo which Medicare and Tricare paid for, I am on once monthly shot of Darzalex which is also covered by Medicare. Pls talk to your doc again.

I also have it in my heart, lunges, legs and hands. I'm on Vyndaqal. It's by the same company but much cheaper. You can also get help with the cost. Check with Pfizer.

Surely I agree with everyone who's written. I would also suggest contacting the company directly and seeing if they have medication refund program or something like that I'm not sure what they're called anymore. I think it's called a patient medication assistance program. Your provider should be able to give you the information since they're prescribing the medication. If not your local pharmacy .
